La Colección Wallace es un museo estatal de arte, de origen privado, localizado Londres. Fue fundado a partir de colección privada de Sir Richard Wallace, que fue legada por su viuda en 1897. El museo se abrió al público en 1900, en las dependencias de Hertford House, en la Manchester Square, y allí permanece, albergada en su integridad, hasta el día de hoy.
Muy interesante a la hora de decidir si ir o no es saber que es gratuito, como la mayor parte de los museos de Londres.
Como curiosidad, el edificio se encuentra al lado de la iglesia católica de Santiago, en el Spanish Place.

La colección
Aparte de la interesante colección de armas y armaduras de la planta baja, la colección cuenta con pinturas de Canaletto, Rubens, Van Dyck, Hals y Lemoyne, entre otros. A continuación se muestra una selección de lo mejor de cada sala.

The Wallace Collection owns and an outstanding collection of Venetian views by Antonio Canaletto and Francesco Guardi. Some of Canaletto’s paintings were acquired by the 1st Marquess of Hertford and mark the beginning of art collecting in the family:
